Classification of piston refrigeration compressor

In order to prevent the refrigerant that inside the ice machinesrefrigeration system leaking from the running compressor, so, its structure must be sealed structure. According to sealed way, piston compressors can be divided into open, semi-hermetic and hermetic three kinds.

1) open-type
Open type compressor’s crank power input side is outside the body, and connected with original motivation through transmission device (coupling or pulley). Crank outside end matched with crank seal device to prevent refrigerant leaking.

2) Semi-hermetic
Compressor body and motor housing body cast one, constitutes a closed body, a detachable cylinder head called the semi-closed compressor.

3) Hermetic
Compressor and motor mounted together in a closed shell, the upper and lower case letters for the welded joints fully enclosed compressor. Hermetic compressor and the matched motor shared use a spindle motor mounted on the chassis, which no need use seal device, reducing the possibility of leakage.
